On the afternoon of December 10, under the guidance of Lecturer Zhang Zhijian, faculty and students from the Academy of Entrepreneurship embarked on a hands‐on journey to explore cutting‐edge technologies. Organized by the Academy, the delegation visited two high‐tech enterprises in Wuhan’s Optics Valley—Wuhan Leador Information Technology Co., Ltd. and Hubei Beidou Tianhui Technology Co., Ltd.—to investigate the latest advancements in surveying and remote sensing as well as satellite navigation.
Unveiling Surveying Technology, Witnessing Technological Excellence
At 2:00 p.m., the group arrived at Wuhan Leador Information Technology Co., Ltd. Accompanied by company staff, they toured the facility’s military surveying vehicle and its unmanned survey cart. The military‐grade vehicle, celebrated for its robust environmental adaptability and high‐precision mapping capabilities, plays a critical role in national defense construction and urban planning. The unmanned survey cart, meanwhile, showcased the seamless integration of artificial intelligence and autonomous driving, impressing observers with its agility and intelligence.
Entering the Beidou Realm, Experiencing Navigation’s Charm
Next, the delegation proceeded to Hubei Beidou Tianhui Technology Co., Ltd., a high‐tech enterprise specializing in satellite navigation and location‐based services whose products serve applications in the military, transportation, agriculture, and more. During the visit, faculty and students engaged in in‐depth discussions with technical staff about the Beidou Navigation Satellite System’s current technical challenges and future development directions. Drawing on the company’s R&D experience and market trends, the engineers offered unique insights and forecasts, which the participants found both eye‐opening and inspiring.
Learning Through Practice, Igniting Technological Aspirations
Throughout the visit, students maintained high enthusiasm and curiosity. They listened attentively to technical presentations and actively participated in Q&A sessions, demonstrating their passion for technology. This activity not only deepened their understanding of surveying, remote sensing, and satellite navigation but also fueled their enthusiasm and aspirations for technological innovation. Participants expressed their intent to leverage this experience by diligently mastering their professional studies and strengthening their practical abilities, thereby contributing to future technological breakthroughs.
