School of Entrepreneurship Engages with SenseTime Group to Discuss AI Empowerment in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education

In line with the national initiative "Improving the Entrepreneurship Support System and Enhancing the Quality of Entrepreneurship," aimed at supporting innovation and entrepreneurship among university faculty and students with technology, the School of Entrepreneurship, led by Dean Yu Ping, along with Ma Bin, Director of the Information Technology Office, visited the headquarters of SenseTime Group in Beijing for a cooperation discussion. The delegation was received by Liu Bin, Head of the Education Division of the SenseTime Digital Economy Research Institute and general manager of Senseyu Technology, and Zhu Ning, Director of Industry-Education Integration at Senseyu Technology. Deputy Dean Peng Huatou and Teacher Liu Zhenyuan of the School of Entrepreneurship also accompanied the visit. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including the "AI+Sci-tech Education" ecosystem, intelligent management of practical platforms, and industry-education integration mechanisms.

At the SenseTime global R&D headquarters showroom, the delegation had an immersive experience with SenseTime’s latest AI foundational technologies and application scenarios. Multi-modal long video reasoning technology and panoramic perception capabilities provide new solutions for intelligent management in sci-tech education and practical platforms.

During the roundtable discussion, both sides delved into topics such as co-building the education ecosystem, empowering platforms with intelligence, and sharing innovation resources. Director Zhu presented SenseTime's deployment plan for proprietary models in schools and the "1+1+X+N" comprehensive talent development solution for institutions. Director Ma shared the school’s achievements in the digital transformation of education and expressed hopes that SenseTime would leverage its core technological advantages to participate in AI-driven educational management at the university. Dean Yu shared the School of Entrepreneurship’s positive exploration in empowering entrepreneurship education through artificial intelligence, highlighting the digitalization efforts in the university's innovation and entrepreneurship hub. He emphasized that in light of the new wave of reform in sci-tech education, and the core mission to support the university’s innovation and entrepreneurship activities, the college urgently needs to leverage SenseTime’s AI technological base to co-develop intelligent systems that support the training and practical experiences of sci-tech talents. This includes integrating knowledge graphs of innovation and entrepreneurship education, providing intelligent diagnostics for full-cycle innovation projects, and precise matching of sci-tech resources, offering comprehensive empowerment for students and faculty throughout the entire cycle of innovation, and driving the intelligent upgrade of the “four-in-one” innovation service chain.

The School of Entrepreneurship has already established a deep collaboration with the Provincial Human Resources and Social Security Department for the development of sci-tech talent. This partnership with SenseTime will further enhance the university’s innovative capabilities in AI-powered sci-tech education and contribute to the scientific and technological entrepreneurship of over a million students and faculty members across the province of Hubei.
